We went to the material place, but didn't find the material we were looking for so I took her to a restaurant. While we were sitting in the restaurant we were started chatting and in our conversation she mentioned her struggle with debt.

She told me that she had the following:

• 2 bank loans
• 2 credit cards
• 2 clothing accounts

Now this doesn't sound like a lot of accounts to pay, but the amounts combined together was huge.  The amazing thing is that the debt that she has is way beyond mine and the sad thing is that her cash flow and income is way less than mine.

She also has some problems with a baby, working short time at work (recession caused this) and she got to pay her debt with less income each month.

My advice to her was to write down all her debt from highest to lowest totals and try to give more than the minimum payment on each one.  I also told her to cut up her credit card and start clearing her smallest debt first and work her way up. I advised her to get another revenue stream to get additional income that can help her with her debt.

I could relate to her problems because I will also there a couple of years ago, but now I'm almost 100% debt free man.

So I dropped her at home and she said that she will try to clear her debt.

If you want to clear your debt bondage then will have to break the shackles and set yourself free by applying yourself and setting yourself goals to live a debt free life.
